Lavender Cutting

Mid June through July is lavender cutting time for me. I've been stripping the leaves and tying them into cute bundles for drying.

I just love lavender....and we've added about 20 new lavender plants to our property this year.

We've also been working on Lilliput. She's all painted....and has a new layed floor too. She's slowly coming together....you know how it is....I put something in there and 10 minutes later I'm hauling it out....I just can't seem to make up my mind.

I hope your all having a wonderful Summer so far!

  1. How beautiful Andrea! I love lavender too.
I am excited to see what you have decided to put in your barn. I will have those same decisions shortly too!
Hubby is making me my shabby shed and I will be painting and decorating it too. I have most of the items set aside that I have been saving for it.
What a cute name you have for it. I love it! Oh the fun!!!
    Cant wait to see yours!
    Hugs xo

  9. That's amazing that is your harvest here in Nebraska. If you ever want to share the type of lavender that you plant here, I'd love to know!

  10. What kinds of lavender do you prefer to plant? I was given one and have had it planted for the past couple of years, but I'm not impressed with it's blooms. I would like to add several more, but am debating what varieties. Any help would be appreciated!

  11. I love lavender too - but haven't been able to get mine to prosper! Maybe I need a better variety? I want lots of it!
