 Here's some of today's bounty.....

 cut fresh from my garden....

and now gracing my home.

I'm so lucky to be able to fill my home with fresh cut flowers from my garden. I have a row of lavender bundles hanging in my kitchen to dry right now too....I just love how they look lined up.

  6. Oh My! How pretty! I wish I could grow lavender in my planting zone, but sadly it won't make it through the winter. Instead I get to look at pretty photos like yours and enjoy them that way.

  25. De très jolies fleurs... J'ai toujours beaucoup de scrupules de couper les fleurs du jardin... je les sens tellement heureuses dans leur environnement!...
    Merci pour ces merveilleuses photos.
    Gros bisous

  26. Fabulous, Andrea! You are blessed indeed to have such lovely flowers to cut. I buy cut flowers, but haven't planted anything but knockout roses recently.

And I agree with Laurie! Your vignettes are simply enchanting!

I never tire of going outside and picking a few blooms to bring inside. There is something so tranquil about it.

  29. Oh, look at all your beautiful flowers! You have so much lavender. Do you know what variety it is? It seems like everything here is an annual and hardly gets any flowers.

  34. Andrea,
Your flowers are beautiful! More advanced than ours are here, though today I was able to pick a lovely peony bouquet. The lavender is so thick and lush! I can imagine how wonderful it smells. I love your new blog header too!
