I'm so lucky to be able to fill my home with fresh cut flowers from my garden. I have a row of lavender bundles hanging in my kitchen to dry right now too....I just love how they look lined up.

ReplyDeletebeautiful. Lavender is the one plant that I have not had a lot of luck growing. do you cut it back after bloom ( before it gets cold) and do you water your's alot?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I made an arrangement with blooming sage, basil and mint. Our lavender just started to bloom.

I love how you have the lavender lying on the platter (is it ironstone?) anyway, it's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteDe très jolies fleurs... J'ai toujours beaucoup de scrupules de couper les fleurs du jardin... je les sens tellement heureuses dans leur environnement!...
ReplyDeleteMerci pour ces merveilleuses photos.
Gros bisous
Fabulous, Andrea! You are blessed indeed to have such lovely flowers to cut. I buy cut flowers, but haven't planted anything but knockout roses recently.
ReplyDeleteAnd I agree with Laurie! Your vignettes are simply enchanting!
Have a wonderful week!
Becky
Gorgeous so fresh and lovely...
ReplyDeleteI think I waited too long and should have trimmed my lavender plants a couple of weeks ago.
If I don't forget - tomorrow...
Thanks for reminding me;)

Lovely flowers!! <3
ReplyDeleteVery, very pretty.
ReplyDeleteI never tire of going outside and picking a few blooms to bring inside. There is something so tranquil about it.
Oh, look at all your beautiful flowers! You have so much lavender. Do you know what variety it is? It seems like everything here is an annual and hardly gets any flowers.
ReplyDeleteJust gorgeous, Andrea! And your photos... beautiful as always!!
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pics! Love the lavender and the pink hydrangeas . They look pretty in your room with the tray, bucket, and jars.
Have a good rest of the week.
Claudia
There is nothing like hydrangea OR lavender...I love both and use whenever I can in my designs.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, as always.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Absolutely beautiful!

Andrea,
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are beautiful! More advanced than ours are here, though today I was able to pick a lovely peony bouquet. The lavender is so thick and lush! I can imagine how wonderful it smells. I love your new blog header too!
Hugs,
Sherry
Andrea,
ReplyDeleteYour hydrangeas and lavender look beautiful and I can only imagine the lovely fragrance. We are currently enjoying our harvest of peonies. The simple blessings of life on a farm. :)
