finally.....the basement stairs

I'm happy to say....the basement stairs are finally done. To see how the stairs looked before....you check check them out here....they sure have come a long way.

Pulling off the carpet did so much to help lighten up the space....it has such an airy feel now.

I'm pretty happy with how they look.....and I think they match this old farmhouse better than office carpeting did....don't you?

Subject change.....

Just wanted to let you know that tomorrow will be the last day my etsy shop will be open....don't forget to use coupon code SALE20 at checkout to get 20% off your order. Thanks again to all of you!

  2. J'irais bien souvent à la cave avec de telles belles marches d'escalier ! Une manière aussi de vérifier, si en revenant de la cave, on est resté sobre en suivant les lignes droites!!!... sourire!
    Gros bisous.

  3. Oh it looks utterly FABULOUS!! I love it - you've pitched the colours just right. They're the colours of a beautiful old French grain sack - perfect!

  4. Absolutely beautiful. It must have been so hard getting those lines straight though. I would be interested to know whether you had to seal the paint with vanish to protect it or have you used special floor paint?

  18. This is just beautiful and so clean and crisp. I wish I could do something like this, but I know my dogs would have all that white all pigged up just like the grey that's on there now, only worse. Constantly washing and retouching boxer slobber!!

  19. I yelled out (while alone in my apt :)) Oh...my.....gosh!!!! I LOVE them. They are spectacular, fantastic, amazing.....shall I go on? Regrettably I don't pin much anymore because I am afraid of being sued. That being said, may I please pin them? If I ever have a stairway I am going to paint them like you did. Great job Andrea.
