do you.....

Do you wander around your home? That's what I'm doing today.....wandering around my house....while painting stripes.....and thinking I need to freshen things up a bit.

I don't know what it is.....but I can never seem to leave things alone. I always have to be moving things from room to room....shelf to shelf....or wall to wall. Sometimes I laugh out loud at how stupid I must look to someone who doesn't understand me.

  1. Don't worry - WE ALL understand you - I do the same thing several times a day! Mind you, I'd kinda try to stop the laughing out loud to yourself bit while wandering around your house shifting things - that could look kind of strange...lol! Paula x

  2. Oh I hear you and I TOTALLY understand!! I love 'fluffing'. The only way I ever seem to really clean anything good is when I'm moving it all around! So I guess it might as well be often:)

  3. I do that except I do it with furniture. Hubs used to come home and walk in and go "Whoa!". Now he barely raises an eyebrow.

  4. I do the exact same thing Andrea! And my boys will look at me and say, "are you going to move things around again?" It's too funny, they so know me!
Hope you have a beautiful day!
    Sincerely,
    Melinda

  7. I had to smile when I read about your wanderings. I wander around my house as I'm drinking my second cup of coffee, looking for things to rearrange and change up. I guess it's who we are and always am glad to hear about others so I know I'm "normal." :-))

  9. I get it...I am exactly the same way...always moving things! Forever tweaking, etc. we do it because we live it I guess. My neighbors must see me staring and wandering around my house...thiking I am absolutely bonkers!

  10. It's like an addiction! And an itchin' to do something CRAZY sometimes! It's ok, it's great to take a risk in our safe place of HOME!

  11. I have the same problem, but I know exactly why I am this way. My mom used to do this all the time. I would come home from school and she'd say "go check out your room" and it would be completely re-done! So fun.

  14. Gosh....at least you were IN your house wandering around. Anybody driving past my house today would'ave seen me standing in the yard staring stupidly at the side of my house. Or so it seemed. lol! I was actually trying to visualize a new garden bed/arbor. But I'm sure it looked like I was staring at my house. lol! But ya know....as we wander, I think it gets the creative juices flowing and we create better, Andrea! :) Happy Mother's Day to you, sweets!

  18. Oh yes...the bad thing is when someone comes into the house in the dark and goes to sit in the chair that was there an hour earlier and they now end up on the floor. EEK! lol
