meet ollie

See back there in the background....

the 2 geese....that's Genevieve and Annabelle....well sadly Genevieve passed away last fall. Annabelle adjusted well....she actually latched on to one of our chickens and followers her around everywhere. Now...while that may seem okay...Annabelle gets lonely when it's time to play in the water.....so.....

guess what....my hubby brought home this sweetie....

I'd like you to meet Ollie.

She or he is doing well...and being she's by herself....we carry her around with us....actually...right now as I type this....Ollie's in my robe pocket.

Okay....gotta go....I think I feel something warm running down my leg.

Have a wonderful Monday!

  4. I love how you named the geese! So regal. Very cute. Did you ever have trouble with them getting nasty at all? I had a friend that had some geese and they got to be very ornery, acting like they owned the place. She had to get rid of them :( Have a great week too.

  17. Hi Andrea, Thanks for stoppin' by! I am printing info for the Shopkeeper & Friends show right now. I will be mailing them tomorrow. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. Or suggestions for that matter! Being the first time doing this I'm sure I left out something. I have to admit I am a little nervous!
    Talk to you soon,

  19. Could anything be CUTER?!?! I think not! Precious! Worth enduring a soaked robe pocket and a little dribble down the leg!

I hope to have chickens someday (living in the city without much of a yard is less than ideal, but I'm hopeful!).

    Bessings!

  20. Ollie is simply adorable Andrea. Gosh, don't you just want to keep looking at him/her? How can anything be so cute?

We once had two ducks. That was quite the experience...when they flew away I just about bawled my eyes out :(

  32. I know i've already posted a comment today... but i just can't help myself! I love this post! My husband and I just got 50 chicks! They're adorable! I named one (he has a black spot on his head) I was just so excited I could tell one apart! Sometimes I even tell him how my day is going and ask him about his day. He doesn't say too much!
I was so close to getting a duck with I picked up our last batch of chicks. They're just SO cute!
