I've been sewing...

Quite a bit lately....and I'm really enjoying it. It's a great feeling to take some random pieces of fabric and turn them into something.

Here's just a couple of the things I've put together....some stockings with French General Fabric....

I love my home.

It's one of my favorite places to be.

This morning....as I sit in a sun drenched living room...I get to look out onto a beautiful view....it's gorgeous here today....this time last year we already had snow.

On beautiful days like this....the outdoors just beckon me....

I think I'll get a cup of french press coffee...and sit outside with my girls.

I truly feel blessed everyday.

A Prairie Peek

Here it is.....

a peek into Fifi's book....Romantic Prairie Style....which will be available in April 2011. The cover features the amazing room of Maria from Dreamy Whites....is that not one of the most beautiful covers ever.

To say I'm anxious to see the rest of the book is an understatement.....with the talents of Mark Lohman as photographer and Fifi O'Neill as writer and stylist.....this is sure to be an amazing book.

The Whistle Stop

Looking for a quaint little shop....

look no further....

Laurie and Robert own a darling shop in Elkhorn, Nebraska called The Whistle Stop.

They are some of the nicest people you could meet and have a keen eye for finding great "stuff" to fill their shop.

The great thing is that they are now open every Saturday and not just for special sales.
