The Whistle Stop

Looking for a quaint little shop....

look no further....

Laurie and Robert own a darling shop in Elkhorn, Nebraska called The Whistle Stop.

They are some of the nicest people you could meet and have a keen eye for finding great "stuff" to fill their shop.

The great thing is that they are now open every Saturday and not just for special sales.

You can visit The Whistle Stop online here....or go by and say "hi" in person...I know they'd love to meet ya.

The Whistle Stop Country Store
20711 Elkhron Drive
Elkhorn, NE 68022
(402) 289-0644

Their next show is "Deck the Halls" on November 4, 5, and 6.

Oh....and the photo above has nothing to do with this post....other than this weekend was filled with muffin eating...cupcake baking....and pound cake making.

  5. I know I've heard of this shop and I've been to Elkhorn...I have hundreds of relatives scattered all over the plains of NE. I'm wondering if I've been there. Or who knows maybe I know the owners, they could be relatives!

  6. Thanks Andrea for the nice comments and plug for our little store! We really enjoyed our visit and tour of your home! It is so wonderful & inviting! We are happy with our finds too! I've fallen in love with the little pink table! I have no pink anywhere in my house but, I may have to find a spot for it anyway. I told Robert not to touch it!!! No paint, no stain!
Thanks agian and hope to see you again soon!

  14. Hi Andrea! I will check that shop out! Now that Fall is in the air, I seem to be baking a lot of bread and muffins myself {bring on the pumpkin bread :)}! I am still absolutely loving your napkins and runners...I just love your style {I know I'm always telling you that, but it's true}!!!

    Big hugs ~

  19. My experience
    with people
    from Nebraska
    is this: They
    are the nicest
    people ~ really,
    really genuine ~
    and I'm sure Laurie
    and Robert would
    prove it! I'm
    a few states away,
    so I'll pop over
    and check out their
    on-line establishment.
    Thanks for the intro!
    xx Suzanne
