Lil' Chick Update

Just a short post to let you know our girls are doin' great....

they've moved out of our tub....

and into the chicken coop....

can't wait to see them runnin' around outside....they're so darn cute!


On another note....with nice weather in the forcast {need that for good picture takin'}....I have some new items coming to the shop next week....stay tuned.

  5. Love your chicks. It looks like you have one that looks like ours; maybe a Polish Bantam. We named ours Kramer and is our favorite. But, she lays no eggs.

    We are getting about a dozen eggs a day now. Hooray for farm fresh eggs.

  8. I was to tempted to bring home a chick...or a dozen the other day when I happpened to be in the Feed store and heard the tiny chirping... sweet little balls of fluff!

  12. I just have to tell you that our little bantam with the funny feathers on her head layed us an egg today. Not sure if it's her first, but it's the first one we have seen her lay. She is a year old.

  16. I love them. They look like they each have a personality all their own. Have fun with them. And I hope you have good weather. We are coming home to Missouri in the next week and a half for a wedding.

  20. Hi Andrea, they seem sort of like puppies, one day they are tiny and they next week they are these big teenagers. Do chickens have years like dog years?

  23. They are just so cute! I have 8 Polish and Chinese chicks coming in June. I can't wait. We are training the dogs to 'look but don't touch' the chickens we have now:) Good luck with them.
