Pottery Barn inspiration that is....
because I r.e.a.l.l.y. love this bedding....well....the whole room for that matter....and it got me thinkin'....I need a bedroom makeover.
I purchased the bedding a couple months ago...and finally got around to painting the room this week. In 2 days....I have transformed our bedroom into a farmhouse retreat...well...at least I think so. The great thing about the makeover....with the exception of purchasing the bedding and bedside lighting....I had everything I needed already for the makeover...the paint was left over....the tables were in the garage....and the mirrors were in my hallway....funny how you can bring things together when your inspired. The last photo shows you a peek at what's to come next week. And to think....it all started with some bedding.
Photo 1 and 2 Pottery Barn...Photo 3 mine.

Is that your bedroom is picture #2??????? If so, it is the most beautiful country bedroom I've ever seen! I love everything about it especially the bedside table and everything on it.
ReplyDeleteYou'll have to show us more ~
And yes, let's go antiquing sometime. Let me know when you're in the mood ~

ReplyDeleteLove the fresh feeling you get from the inspiration room. I am sure it will look wonderful. I just recently changed our bedding and throw pillows and it has made a world of difference. I even like the paint color more, I would still love to change it though.
ReplyDeleteHave a great rest of the week.
I like that sunfaded faded print of the topper... makes me wonder if a light bleach solution would fade brighter colors?
ReplyDeleteI bought an old iron bed for my own small porch last summer- it's currently 'resting' in the basement just waiting for summer to come out and play again...me, too!
I'm looking forward to seeing your room images, and I do wish we had Pottery Barn here.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for the reveal, that bedding is beautiful! I'm sure your bedroom will be as well... Theresa

ReplyDeleteHow is it that you're doing all of this wonderful redecorating in your home but it just seems so effortless and perfect when it's all done, Andrea? I love everything you're doing and can't wait to see your bedroom. That sneak peek is wonderful so far!
ReplyDeleteSoooooo lovely...I can't wait to see more...we were down in Seattle yesterday and visited Pottery Barn....I love that store....they have the neatest old PESI crates...I am made at myself for not buying one.
ReplyDeletePottery Barn is my favorite - and very very bad for a budget! :)
ReplyDeleteI fell in love w/ that bedding also when i saw it in their catalog.
Can't wait to see the finished pictures of your bedroom.
Thanks for being such an inspiration -
I love their farmhouse bedding they have in their catalogs as well. I quilt and I know I can make those pillow shams for less. The quilt is another story. It would take a while to probably make a bed size quilt. You aren't alone in the bedding love. I have tons of quilts that I have bought that we use on our beds way before I even learned how to quilt.
ReplyDeleteLoving that last pic with what looks like a glass/crystal knob. Your room is going to be lovely.
that is how it all starts, with one thing we love and then we have to redo the room around that thing! ha! I can't wait to see what you have done, you have great style and I know I will be drooling while being inspired by you!! thank you again for my little sacks, love them and will use them this weekend on our picnic!
