I've been doing a few small sewing projects...wanna a peek...
I made these 2 pillows out of these that I had in the shop...I've been wanting some pillows that had a really nubby feel to them...and after looking around at what's available to buy....and seeing that they were w.a.y. out of my budget....I thought I'd look around my home to see if I had something similar...and wouldn't ya know it...I did.I first made a couple pillows out of some old ticking I had....
I l.o.v.e. how they turned out...they are far from perfect....but perfect for me...and gotta love anything with hand embroidered initials. These of course were made for my ginormous sofa that I'm slipcovering {you can see it in the photos}....which by the way....is very....very close to being done....I'll probably being showing it to you sometime next week. And then I made this....
a new flea market tote for myself. I wanted to make one that looked a little tattered....I even added a patch with some gray ticking. With spring right around the corner....I thought I needed to get ready....for s.h.o.p.p.i.n.g....and one can never have too many totes....right?Have a beautiful weekend!

Ok, you have gotta stop with these beauties! I want them all! Love the pillows...the casual design is awesome. And the tote bag is pretty darn dreamy, too! ;o) Any luck with photos?...I'm struggling...but getting there. ~mary~

I love these pillows and that they are really gender neutral. I could easily add them to my three boys room and they would be a great natural looking element. Thanks for sharing.
