Uggghhh.....

Okay....you all know I've been working on re-doing my home....well, the bathroom is pretty much done...except that the professionals haven't come to finish their part....oh, and we have to take a piece of our moulding to a mill shop to have another piece custom made {they just don't make 100-year old moulding anymore}.

Why is it that when you ask others to help {the plumbers, contractors, landscapers, etc...}....they just don't care about getting it done as much as you do...and they're gettin' PAID....I don't get it. It may be that I'm one of those kinda people that wants it done yesterday...you know, when you have an idea, you want to see it happen now...well at least I do.

So...since the bathroom is almost done, I thought I'd start the guest bedroom {I only work on one room at a time}...which up until Friday was my teeny tiny office. It's been painted and now I'm just fluffin' it a bit...I'd like to show you some photos of it....but of course all my office stuff is in boxes....and I can't find the plug {or anything else} to connect my camera to the computer....UGGGHHH!

Thanks for letting me vent....

♥Andrea

  1. Oh Andrea,
I wish I could say it will be done before you know it but I'm sitting here with a tarp over my house (really). They've promised construction will be finished by Sunday night (I'm not holding my breath). I so feel your pain. Let's think completed construction for one another and maybe it will get done sooner! I do know your changes will be beautiful. Love your photo... looks dreamy, can't wait to see the rest.

  2. Hi Andrea,

Hang in there, Girl. Reno's seem to take so long and I agree that I just don't understand these contractors. They are never in a hurry. I am sure it will all be beautiful in the end. Can't wait to see the pics.

  13. I so feel your pain Andrea, only mine comes in the form of the pool man...he takes forever to finish things, maybe I should pay him and he would get it done quicker...however, you prooved a good point, even paying them doesn't make them finish...I guess we just have to be patient..can't wait to see all your hard work!

  16. We are 5 years into a remodelling project...when there's time there's no money and when there's money there's no time...while I cannot wait to see pics, I don't want to add any more pressure. ;-)
    Enjoy your day!
