oh no!!!! I think it is heading our way...our forcast is for snow sometime this week...how can that be? Lucky I just bought a lovely new parka! Now it is time to snuggle up with hot cocoa and a warm fire! xoxoxo
In my area of the Midwest (Chicago), the snow has not hit yet. Thank goodness, I'm just not ready! Not until we put the tree up and then just a light gentle snow fall please...I can hope it goes down that way, can't I?!
I'm glad it didn't come down my way, I'm not ready yet! Last time we got a big October storm the trees were still full of leaves and the branches were so heavy, they broke. Lots of power outages and messes. Hope your storm didn't cause too many problems.
Ok Ladies I have lived on the East Coast and in the South. GIVE ME THE SNOW UP TO MY TUSHY any day!!!!!I HATE hot weather! That snow looks wonderful. I envy the colored leaves I don't get to rake and the snow I don't get to shovel. Lucky Lucky You!
Andrea...this is so beautiful to me! We NEVER get snow and last year we actaully got about 6". It didn't last long but everyone was so excited! It's always like 100 degrees here. In fact, we are still wearing shorts and flip flops here! Beautiful picture!
I think that looks beautiful. Peaceful. It's been lovely here all summer and early fall, but now it seems the rain is here - hopefully not for long. Snow is pretty, rain is just soggy.
happy fall, indeed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteI miss the midwest! The first snowfall sounds so nice when it is October in Florida and it has been in the mid 90's and humid since April!

Oh I had heard it was snowing out west. Just cold and damp here in the east...Stay warm and cozy!

ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what's new in the shop! You must be busy I haven't heard from you in a while.
It is amazing how cold it is now...I think we midwesterners are in for a long winter...
ReplyDeleteStay warm.

WHAT??!! Oh my goodness, too crazy.
ReplyDeleteLife is funny... those of us that live in Florida seem to dream of snow, and think that picture looks like a fairy land.
ReplyDeleteThose of us that live where it snows all the time, sound like they dread it a bit.
I guess the grass is always greener... or whiter!!

I guess you blinked and missed it when Fall came and went. Such a pretty shot there in your photo, though. Wax up the sled runners and away you go!
