I have always loved lavender....

whether in a jar....

on a silver plate....

or in a bowl....
I have always had a thing for lavender. I love scattering bundles around my home...especially in the fall and winter months....just to remind me....that soon....they'll be back again.
Have a wonderful weekend!
♥Andrea

Me too! I love lavender! I usually have one Christmas tree that has a couple dozen lavender bouquets tucked all around in it -- my "French Country" tree. :)

So pretty! I ♥ how they look in the jars. I am looking forward to tying this out next fall (our plants are still wee).
ReplyDeleteOh yes...I love Lavender too! Your bundles are amazing.
ReplyDeleteLovely lavender. I like it too, but unfortunately can't have it around because I start sneezing :)
ReplyDeleteI too grow lots of herbs, and one of my favorites is lavender. I recently made a fairy garden out of a big bucket and added herbs. When I walk out my back door the sweet scent of lavender awaits me! Also I spray it on my pillowcases. Good for inducing a good night's sleep!

Andrea, I have to say that Lavender is one of my all time favorite plants. I actually ventured to the Norfolk Lavender Farm in Norfolk, England right before a harvest several years ago. 250 acres of pure sweet lavender. 2die4!

ReplyDeletewow that is gorgeous! What a great idea! I have several lavender bushes in my garden I wonder if I could dry them like that. They may be a different variety though.
ReplyDeleteOf course lavendar is one of my favorites, too!! I have been experimenting with different varieties to find a winter hardy plant suitable for the extremes out here on the Nebraska prairie!! It's pretty tough out here but lavendar is sooo worth the work!! Have you every made a lavendar bottle?? Sue
