Midwest Skies

I took these photos over a period of 47 minutes...just to show you how fast the weather can change here.

5:40pm

6:05pm

6:26pm

6:27pm

It still amazes me how in a matter of minutes it can go from gorgeous skies...to black as night skies...and back to gorgeous skies again.

I love midwest skies!

  4. Funny how I almost never notice the sky when I'm in the city, but it's completely different at the farmhouse, with the wide open spaces. It does seem to change more quickly out there, Andrea.

  5. Fabulous photos!! I love a big thunderous sky. I used to have a view of the ocean from my home [in Sydney]. It was such entertainment when a storm was brewing. Thanks for the images. Julie

  6. WHOA - Amazing!! I love the first shot, I haven't seen a sky like that in 5 years - It never gets that way in Oregon! Just boring old Oregon. I Miss Texas and the awsome thunderstorms!! And the smell after the thunderstorm...I love your photos! Have a good week miss Andrea! xoxo

  9. Ack! Same here in Alaska. We have a saying "If you don't like the weather, wait five minutes!" Today it's beautiful, clear blue sky and expected to be in the low 70's. We're heading to the downtown Saturday market to bring home fresh veggies. Have a lovely day!
