Farm Fresh Eggs For Sale!

Farm fresh eggs for sale.....
The basket above shows that are baby ducks have now turned into little ladies. The smaller of the two eggs is from a ducks.
Now...this basket is from our Big Girls (our chickens) and they never disapoint. They lay the most yummy eggs...ever!
As you can see here, when I go out every morning to feed "The Girls", they are so excited to see me. They literally follow me wherever I go....They are very tamed chickens you see....Since they were chicks I've been singing to them (they're my only fans) and calling them "My Girls", so when I call them they always come running...it's so cute. Then after a long hot day, I'll go outside to catch the sunrise...and of course "My Girls" are the first to jump in my lap. Ahhh!
Ok...Enough about me...Here's just a couple of the goodies that will be available tomorrow in the shop. A beautiful french inspired duvet...Gorgeous!...
and a c.1900 flow blue cup...Stunning!
Have a wonderful day!

Victorian Vavoom

A few weeks ago, I received my purchase that I made at Polly's, and just love it! You know, all those black and brown leather wallets just weren't me. I needed something with a little pizaaz, and boy did I get it.
Don't ya just love this fab wallet! So yummy with all it's patchwork of fabrics and ribbons...and we can't forget the beautiful cameo pin. She's got a couple more available, and you can check them out here.

Inspiration Boom

I have been inspired!
This sweet "corset" napkin ring was inspired by the wonderful Heather. If you haven't been to her blog, you really must see it. She is completely inspiring with her gorgeous pictures and wonderful ideas.
After having seen her gorgeous "corset" napkin holder, I was so eager to try it out. I literally jumped in the car as fast as I could in search of some sewing patterns. Well, luckily the thrift store was still open and I bought a bunch of patterns. I brought home a bag full of the them, to see what these beautiful and forgotton treasures would inspire me to make.

So, these are what started this wonderful creative journey. They really are beautiful and have given me a great new oulet to create. I'm actually working on a couple items with the patterns to add to my shop. When they're ready, you'll be the first to know!

This is a sneak peek at what's to come on Friday in my shop. One of the new items we'll be carrying are the most gorgeous handmade french ribbon roses ever! Each one is handmade using ribbon imported from France then hand dyed to give them a vintage look. They are absolutely amazing! These are great to use as a brooch (they have a pin back), tie back curtains, embellish a gift, pin to a lampshade (I did this and they look wonderful), add a bit of vintage charm to your purse (I also added one to my purse and viola instant charm!), really the possibilities are endless.

We are also going to be carrying a fabulous line of handmade jewelry that's vintage inspired. The vintage button charm bracelets are gorgeous!

The Blue Bedroom

I thought today I'd share a couple pics of my Plain Jane bedroom. I only say that because I only have one picture hanging and one mirror...that's it...nothing else on the walls. But, I have to say that I really like the look. With the soft aqua walls, white bedding and very little other ornamentation it really has a spa or hotel feel to it. Plus, that way my 100+ year old blue framed french print stands out. I just LOVE that picture!....and the frame.....OH, the frame.....LOVE IT! I bought it a couple months ago in Walnut, Iowa, for a pretty penny, but to me, it was absolutely worth it. Do you see that lamp with the soft pink shade....that's one of my favorite lamps. I bought it at a thrift store and all I had to do was paint the gold base white and add my favorite shade to it. Cute huh?

This is my stack of vintage english eiderdowns. Another "thing" I like to collect. I really do have to start editing my collections, as I have soooo many! lol! Anyways, I just love using these at the foot of the bed, being I ususally have white or cream bedding, these really pop on my bed.

Ok, I know I now live in the midwest, but was born and raised in California all my life, up until about 3 years ago. With that said, if you walked into my home you'd think you were by the beach not the cornfields. lol! I LOVE shells! I have them scattered everywhere. In little bowls, big bowls, urns, huge ones on the coffee table and bookcase...Ok, are you seeing a pattern here...

Have a fantastic day!
