Got Any Ideas...And A Giveaway

My wonderful friend Sue found these gorgeous frames and saved them just for me! Does she know what I like or what! They have beautiful old pink velvet in the center and the frames have the loveliest details.
So, I was thinking whatever I do with these frames, has to be really special. I have thought to make one into a 3D collage of vintage wedding items, but I'm not sure. This is where you come in...I wanted to ask all the wonderfully creative and talented bloggers out there...what would you do?
And if you leave a comment on this post, you'll be entered to win this vintage blue horse ribbon. The winner will be choosen on Friday...Good Luck!

  1. Wow, I have almost exactly the same frames with the same pink velvet! I've put budgie wire (like small chicken wire) over the velvet and hang my earrings on it. This makes it easier to see what I have at a glance and the two frames look pretty hanging on the wall side by side.

  2. cute!! i'd use it to post my jewelry as a jewelry board!!

  3. I think a 3D collage with vintage wedding items is a great idea. That's what I would do.

  4. What a perfect pink! I'd center an old sepia photo in the frame and pin a beautiful rhinestone brooch underneath. Maybe hang them from velvet ribbon tied up with an old millinery flower? Of course, I add that kind of stuff to everything I do.....

  5. Oooh, those frames are definitely beauties! I have a big frame that holds my very favorite Christmas decoration. It's actually set on velvet and it's about that size. The shape of a christmas tree was formed with pieces of broken glass and then was adorned with vintage jewelry. So pretty!

Pop on over to say hi and enter a fab giveaway on my blog!
